Visit Norwich

The Brief

After winning a competitive pitch, we were tasked by Norwich BID (Business Improvement District) to design and develop an editorial driven tourism hub that informed visitors about the abundance of things to do and places to see, in the city we are proud to call home.

Our Approach

Editorial content needed to be logically segmented and easily accessible for a wide variety of user types. A mobile-first approach enabled us to create a series of user flows that we refined and evolved into prototypes that gave us a clear view of the key user journeys and their relationship with the content itself.

A modular, responsive, colour-coded design makes the editorial content accessible and encourages users to explore everything Norwich has to offer.

The website quickly gained traction after launch and has become the number one online tourism resource for anyone planning a visit to this fine city.

We're thrilled with the new-look VisitNorwich website, which now integrates the much-loved City of Stories blog and animates the new brand positioning. We enjoyed working alongside the Soak digital team to create a site that’s very innovative in the tourism sector.
