To help the team at Pearson design and develop a digital platform for 'The Learning Curve' an ongoing research initiative highlighting the performance of national education systems across the world.

Our Approach

Working with such a large volume of raw data and making it interesting and accessible to a global audience is always a challenge.

To solve it, we created detailed user flows, and a series of interactive prototypes which helped us test and refine how each data set was presented.

The final execution enhanced the user experience even further; with the introduction of infographics, iconography and dynamic filtering across all key data points.


The Learning Curve immediately captured the attention of the world's press who made significant references to the site's data index and global league tables, ensuring worldwide exposure and over 250,000 unique visitors in the first month.
