Malign Portents Campaign

We empowered a global community of gamers to influence the outcome of ’Dread Solstice’ an interactive story to support the launch of the Malign Portents game.

Leveraging the success of Fate of Konor, Dread Solstice ran for six weeks, using a flexible narrative, that presented users with a series of story-based dilemmas.

Users were encouraged to read each dilemma and choose their preferred path, gradually building the storyline which on completion was available as an ePub download.

The immersive microsite encourages users to explore the eight mortal realms and the characters that lived in them. In-depth video tutorials guide users on how to paint each character and provide behind the scenes insights into how the game came to life.
