Marketing Manager

Soak are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable marketer. As the ideal candidate, you will have hopefully gained a couple of years experience working within an agency, a brand or other commercial organisation.

It’s essential that you can demonstrate understanding of multiple marketing channels, especially across digital, including; content, social media, email, PPC but also more traditional channels like press, PR, networking and events.

You’ll need to be a great communicator, a good listener, tenacious and very organised.

If you have a good understanding of digital and creative industries that will be a huge feather in your cap.

The role is focussed on managing and promoting Soak’s own profile, working across teams, under the guidance of the Directors. You’ll have your ear to the ground both inside and outside of the agency walls, allowing you to communicate our story in the right format, to the right people, in the right places at the right time.

Specific responsibilities include

Managing, coordinating and creating Blog content

Promoting content via social channels

Promoting agency proposition via paid digital channels

Managing memberships to industry bodies

Identifying, writing and managing award entries

Managing quarterly newsletters

Identifying relevant industry and networking events

Promoting company proposition in innovative ways

Monitoring and reporting on website activity

Contributing to new business activity

This full time role, based at Soak’s city centre studio in Norwich offers the chance to join a growing agency with big ambitions and a reputation for producing top-flight work.

Salary is £DOE and comes with a generous holiday allowance + benefits.

Project / Account Manager

As part of our ongoing growth we are looking to appoint an experienced digital Project / Account Manager to join our client services team.
The role requires a conscientious professional with a great deal of enthusiasm, a good knowledge of digital technologies, excellent attention to detail and at least 3 years commercial experience delivering digital design and build projects.

Being able to confidently present and articulate new ideas and strategies to both clients and our internal development team is a must, as is the ability to produce fully rationalised briefs and detailed project documentation.

Reports To:

Head of Client Services

Specific duties include:

  • Providing end-to-end project management across the entire project lifecycle
  • The scoping of projects with clients, understanding their individual requirements and accurately articulating these to the wider development team
  • Ensuring profitability of assigned accounts
  • Formulating ongoing strategies / approaches both proactively and reactively
  • Assisting and contributing to client and new business proposals
  • Liaising with internal teams to establish project approaches and effort estimates
  • Producing project documentation including, cost estimates, statements of work, functional specifications
  • Project status monitoring and reporting
  • Project scope change management
  • Analysing, interpreting and presenting results
  • Delivering ideas and final project deliverables to clients for review
  • Ensuring account billings are tracked and invoiced
  • Contribution to company ways of working and processes

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Great organisational skills and the ability to hit deadlines
  • Confident presentation capabilities both internally and externally
  • The ability to identify and assess risks across the entire project lifecycle
  • The ability manage to changing scope / business requirements
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring the ongoing improvement of agency output
  • Can offer informed opinion about the wider digital marketplace and technologies
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall PM methodologies

Server side developer
