Supporting Norfolk cancer charity, Big C

Big C is Norfolk’s cancer charity, set up in 1980 to support local people suffering from this terrible disease. During May and June, Soak’s employees will be ‘getting on our bikes’ to fundraise to help the great work Big C does supporting those affected by cancer here in Norfolk.

  • Not for profit

We are taking part in ‘Miles in May’, a fundraising campaign organised and run by our neighbours, Indigo Swan.

We are asking our employees to get out their lycra, and cycle, run, walk, swim or row miles and miles to contribute to Indigo Swan’s target of 10,700 miles by the end of May. In total 11 Norfolk businesses are taking part, and together we’re aiming to raise as much as we can for Big C.

In June, a team of experienced cyclists from Soak will take part in The Norwich 100, a sportive starting and ending in Norwich, but taking in the sights of Blickling Hall, Horsey and skimming around the Broads. This event is sponsored by Loveday & Partners, graded 3.5/5 on the cycling challenge rating and is approximately 103 miles long.
